1 East

East direction is also known Point of sunrise. It is always advised to keep east direction as "PITRU STHAAN". For this reason it is necessary to keep your nose in the direction of east while meditating. Thus "AGANI TATVA" is always in east. The God of this direction is INDRA. Thus it is considered that east direction is always a doorstep of sunrise. That's why in "VASTUSHASTRA" it is said that east should always remain vacant.

2 West

This direction is considered as point of sunset. The God of this direction is "SWAMI VARUN". This direction is known as component of wind. This direction is considered as Symbol of Happiness. It is found that people who live in direction of west, are always found to be more happier and calm.

3 North

This direction represents "MAATRUBHAAV". Pole star (Dhruv Taara) is often found in north direction at night. This direction consists of water. This direction is always blessed by "LAKSHMI" and it is found that this direction is more earnable and profitable.

4 South

This direction indicates earth and the God of this direction is "YAMA". That's why this direction is known as "MUKTI PRADHAN".

Four sub-directions

1 ESHAAN direction

This direction lies between north point and East point. This direction gives knowledge, peace and courage to humans. That's why this direction should always be kept neat and clean.

2 AGANI direction

This direction lies between south point and east point. This direction is very healthy. It is always advised that you should use electricals, firing components and iron which is good for this direction.

3 NERUTHRA direction

This direction lies between south point and west point. The God of this direction is "Evil". Things might go beyond your control due to improper usage of this direction which can lead to many problems.

4 VAYAVYA direction

This direction lies between north point and east point. This direction gives you good outcome. Positive results are one of the biggest signs of this direction because this direction give you power and good health. You have the keep this direction clean otherwise your closest person can turn out to be your enemy.
